My job title is Civil Technician, and being brand new to the industry, my work has taken many forms.

I’ve been with PE-Services for 27 years. My primary role is as a senior inspector, where I go to job sites and help ensure projects are constructed properly, on time, and within budget. I also serve in a management role and work closely with a great team of people. I feel very fortunate to work alongside individuals I’ve collaborated with for many years.

I have been at PE Services for 5 years! I wish I had changed careers years ago. Dont look back, look forward! PES has great people and is a very supportive company. PE puts their employees first. Happy employees make a productive, successful company.

I have been at PE Services full time for about a year and a half now but also interned with PE for three months in 2023. I am a Civil Technician, and my role differs depending on the project. On my current project, I am the project lead, but on other projects I do materials testing, inspection, and document control. I was given the opportunity to intern with PE Services while I was still in school and during that time, I was able to build a great community and I enjoyed the work that PE Services does, so I was excited to be asked back full time.

My 1 year anniversary is this month!! I am a Civil Technician which means I do construction site inspection, contract documentation, and material testing, depending on the project. I chose to work here because it was a great opportunity to take a new step forward in my professional journey and I appreciated the investment they make in the technical development of their employees.

I have been at PE Services for 1.5 years as an environmental Scientist and Civil Technician. I do a little bit of everything as an environmental and civil inspector from MCES sewer upgrades, NPDES inspections to earthwork grading and base. I stumbled into PE Services and did not look at other firms but what made me want to work for PES was the companies drive to provide an enjoyable working environment and experience.

I’ve been with PE Services for one year. As an Environmental Scientist and Civil Technician, I conduct environmental and civil inspections on construction projects to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices.

Joining the team as a civil technician turned out to be exactly what I needed. I couldn’t be happier with my decision. Great people, great company.

The owners, managers and co-workers at PE Services have built the company into a family-like structure that is very welcoming, effective and flexible.
