Project Highlights

Twin Ports Interchange (TPI)

The TPI project, currently underway, involves the reconstruction of the interchange at the junction of I-35, Interstate 535, and the TH53 along with all adjacent roadways. Construction is committed to occur in three primary quadrants. Multiple bridge structures will be replaced and roadway improvements will create a better and safer fundamental link between the Duluth Port, Lincoln Park, Canal Park and Downtown Duluth. TPI Construction is proposed to occur in a space-constrained, heavy industrial urban landscape with unique water resources. PE Services is well positioned to assist the MnDOT team and their partners with experience in numerous large-scale roadway and bridge construction projects. Through our understanding of speed of service delivery and availability of critical resources, PE Services will provide technical competence and quality oversight during the construction process. PE Services will provide MNDOT with project support services that encompass many forms with an overriding objective of rapidly delivering support services and providing concise, timely dissemination of important project information to all appropriate stakeholders.

PE Services staff have previously assisted on numerous alternative delivery projects. As a CMGC style project this provides insight to processes and the need for consistent project communication. Our teams are efficient and effective in our approach and supportive of our partnerships and their roles within each project. Our staff strive to create value in each discipline in which they work, always keeping focus on the quality aspect of delivering infrastructure that builds a legacy which stands for generations to come.
