I-94

I-94 between Maple Grove and Clearwater is undergoing three years of improvements and upgrades along a 39-mile stretch of road. We are adding travel lanes, rebuilding bridges, constructing access lanes, improving drainage, adding an interchange, and resurfacing deteriorating pavement. When complete, motorists will experience improved safety, a smoother road surface, better commercial access for freight and business and less vehicle congestion.

These 3 consecutive projects will add more lanes, improve existing facilities (like bridges) and provide a better access for merging traffic patterns. The total project cost for these three corridor improvements is estimated at 350 million dollars and is expected to manage traffic patterns of 45,000 to 117,000 vehicles that use this stretch each day.

PE Services has partnered with MnDOT to perform a full compliment of services that ranges from environmental compliance, materials testing, gradation analysis, and document control. Our staff and our partners assist MnDOT with a “hands on” construction experience to ensure good work is completed in a timely fashion for years to come. PE Services also performs Office Manager duties using AASHTOWare and reviews contractor certified payrolls and provides analysis/reporting on daily inspection reports and project invoices and vouchers.
