Getting to Know Jeff German, Senior Civil Technician

1. How long have you been at PE Services and what does your role entail?

I started working at PE Services in April 2023. My role entails field inspection, paying attention to detail, working with contractors and MnDOT employees as well as helping PE Services employees when needed.

2. What made you decide to work at PE Services over other firms?

PE Services is smaller, it provides a professional atmosphere, and the company is growing with plenty of jobs to go around.

3. What is your favorite aspect of your job?

Being out in the fresh air and working closely with contractors to provide a quality product.

4. What has been your favorite project and why?

My favorite project would have to be the Saint Anthony Falls 35W bridge rebuild. It was fast-paced, and the scale of the project was massive. It was pretty cool to be a part of such a high profile project.

5. I am happiest when….

I’m watching my kids play sports or hanging out with them in general.
