Getting to Know Dale Schlotfeldt, Special Inspector

How long have you been at PE Services and what does your role entail?  
I’ve been with PE Services for 10 and a half years and I do just about anything.

What made you decide to work at PE Services over other firms? 
My connection to the Johnson Family, the founding partners.

What is your favorite aspect of your job? 
I love seeing projects get completed. I also love being outside.

What has been your favorite project and why? 
My favorite project was Target Field. It had an unlimited budget. At one point in the development, they even looked at making it an indoor stadium.

I am happiest when…. 
I am with my family.

How do you maintain a healthy work-life balance in a demanding professional environment?
I like to work out: swimming, running, biking. I also really like to garden.

Describe your perfect vacation.
Any time spent in Manhattan.

What would you tell a newcomer to PE Services?
I would tell them that it is a great place to work and that there is always candy, chips and beer in the fridge.
